Bhut Jolokia

The Bhut Jolokia chili pepper, sometimes called Naga Jolokia and “ghost chili” by US media, is a chili pepper recognized by Guinness World Records as the hottest pepper in the world in 2007. It is 400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce and about 200 times hotter than Jalapeno peppers. The Bhut Jolokia is a hybrid cultivated in the Nagaland and Assam region of northeastern India and parts of neighbouring Bangladesh. It grows in the Indian states of Assam, Nagaland and Manipur.
