Mustard seeds

Mustard seeds have been used as medicine and for culinary use since ancient times by the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians and have been mentioned in ancient Sanskrit texts. They are the small round seeds of the mustard plant. The seeds are usually about the size of small couscous grains and come in three varieties: black mustard, brown Indian mustard, and white mustard.
