Pak Choi

A close cousin of bok choi, pak choi is a leafy green vegetable native to Asia that’s a member of the cabbage family. Pak choi is a traditional Chinese vegetable that made its way into Europe through Asians living in Amsterdam. Pak choi looks very similar to bok choi. It comes in loose heads with oval-shaped, glossy, dark green leaves and long, white, ribbed stalks. Although pak choi is a member of the cabbage family, it has a flavor closer to spinach.
