  • Reishi Mushroom Tea


  • Ingredients:
    1 tbsp Dried reishi mushrooms (powder or ground)
    4-5 cups Water
    Honey or Agave Syrup, to taste

    Prep Time: 5  mins
    Cook Time: 2 hrs
    Total Time: 2 hrs 5 mins

    Directions:
    1. Bring the water to a boil in a stainless steel or ceramic pot. Don\\\'t use aluminum for such a prolonged boiling process.
    2. Add the mushroom pieces. Reduce the heat until the mixture is simmering, not outright boiling. Let it simmer for 2 hours.
    3. Remove from the heat, strain, and set aside. Allow the liquid to cool a little, as it\\\'s quite hot. You can repeat the process with the strained pieces until the resulting extraction is no longer bitter or colored.
